Details
EASY for SAP - NOTES INTEGRATION leverages the current IBM Lotus Notes standards. Users of IBM® Lotus Notes® 8.5.1 or higher can use EASY for SAP - NOTES INTEGRATION, making their work environment more convenient and efficient.
EASY for SAP - NOTES INTEGRATION was designed as a client plug-in which can be centrally distributed via the IBM Lotus Domino Server to individual clients using Notes standard tools. Its user-specific configuration allows each user individually to maintain and change their specific settings, such as SAP login credentials and type of document assignment (Drag & Drop or button). Fixed settings applying to all users can be optionally distributed to the individual clients using Notes standard tools; these cannot be changed by the users. These include information on the EASY for SAP HTTP Connection Server and in which format the Notes documents are stored in SAP. The documents can be optionally stored in EML, TIFF, PDF or PDF/A format. This enables users working on the corresponding SAP document to view the information from IBM Lotus Notes directly via SAP, without using IBM Lotus Notes at all.
To assign the IBM Lotus Notes documents, the user only needs to select one document type from their IBM Lotus Notes client to which they want to list the SAP documents, and specify the type of document they want to store in SAP. A filter function allows limiting the number of returned SAP objects. After selecting the correct document, the user will only have to select the corresponding IBM Lotus Notes documents, and drag them on to the business document via Drag & Drop, or simply press a button. That's it.
