An enterprise-wide SAP archive for the Bose sound specialists

LogoBose Corporation of Massachusetts, synonymous with unique sound experience in any application of the audio sector, integrates EASY software to manage terabytes of archived data and documents from their SAP system, while providing powerful search and retrieval access for employees and customers.

"EASY SOFTWARE met all our critical evaluation factors,including leveraging of the solution across the enterprise, the ease of use and reduction of our database size," said Mark Sjogren, manager of Bose's SAP Competency Center. "EASYWARE made it possible, for Bose to realize the desired database size reduction, allowing mandatory copies of the production database, for fail-over and quality assurance, to co-exist on the storage area network. Without the archiving solution from EASY SOFTWARE, Bose would face the challenge of maintaining an SAP database in the order of 265% of the size by 2007, and associated disk space requirements to also provide the necessary capacity across the Multi-Tier Landscape. EASYWARE limits the growth of the database size to 155% by 2007.
